On Thursday, September 27th, 2018, a group of happy members from the Kiwanis Clubs of Oak Bay, Sidney and Victoria gathered together for a joint installation of their incoming Executive and Directors. Also recognized were those Board and Executive members retiring from active service.
In attendance were out-going PNW Governor Roger Bell and Lieutenant Governor Susan Menzies as well as incoming Lieutenant Governor Thomas Sturge. Our clubs are so fortunate to have such great leaders at the PNW and Division 17 levels, who serve - and inspire - all of us.
It’s always a positive experience to gather together to recognize those at the club level who sacrifice so freely of their time and effort to provide leadership to our members. They very much earn - and deserve - the congratulations they receive.
Also, particular thanks are due to the Kiwanis Club of Oak Bay for organizing/hosting the wonderful evening, and to Ken Smith, President, KCoS, for doing such a great job MC'ing the event.
Finally, everyone in attendance seemed to really enjoy their evening at Kiwanis Club of Oak Bay’s Rose Manor; lots of conversation and general merriment. A very good portent for another great year for the Kiwanis Clubs of Greater Victoria!
